"i'll make me a world"

{awash in the beauty of our own things}

April 28, 2004 :::

iris is right. it don't take that damn long to get the groceries out of the car.

been pretty uneventful on the knitting front, i'm afraid. can't remember the last time i picked up a hook or needle. life slapped them out of my hands like a school yard bully in a half-court pick-up game. and i was so close to finishing my topsecret, too. still, i sit reading in my knitting room, surrounded by all that beloved yarn, thinking to myself "all this yarn. AND I KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH IT, TOO!"

i'm so proud that i know how to knit and crochet, i don't have to do either one to gloat.
