whew!

i'm working on pictures of my newly completed sitcom chic. you gotta understand my digi cam is a bad joke. getting pictures on the web is a good hour, hour and a half commitment. it's on my to-do list.

do you know how good it is to be off from school for a month?

i'm not gon' cuss

i was crackin' on these clogs. crackin', i tell you... then i ran out of yarn. remember me sayin i needed another skein? well i do and i've emailed bobbie twice and gotten no response. there's a phone number on the website, but she's 3 hours ahead of me and i haven't been able to call during her business hours yet.

not cute.

but i did finish my sitcom chic on friday. my first sweater. i'm not overly impressed with how it turned out. it just doesn't hang right on me. i think i got a little too happy with the steamer. but it's done and i love the feeling of accomplishment. yes, as a matter of fact, i did start it five months ago. i'm glad you're keeping track.

i've been on a finishing binge lately. wanting to get some of this yarn moved along. i was having a great time with the clogs. whipping one of those babies out in 2 days, tops! i'm so pissed about the yarn shortage.

but i'm not gon' cuss.

this is not getting better.

just as i'm adding the outer sole to the first clog (i.e. almost done) i realize i'm running out of the trim/sole color and there's still another clog to do. what happened?

i used the body color for the cuff/sole and the cuff/sole color for the body.

of course i've already sewn the inner sole together and cut a bunch of ends and yeah. i'm almost too disgusted with myself to even look at that clog again. but it's already december and i'm already behind. so back to work.
